Full description
This is an absolutely delightful hand-painted cup and saucer from the quality Royal Stafford pottery. Estimated to be in excess of 60 years in age, this is a stunningly pretty vintage cup and saucer, with a hand poured candle.
The cup itself measures 7cm in height, and 8cm in diameter across the top, while the saucer has a diameter of 14cm.
The candle is 100% pure EcoSoya wax, which comes from a fully sustainable resource, is biodegradable, and burns cleanly with no soot or smoke.
The wax has been left in it’s natural colour of light ivory, and has a beautiful silky and creamy appearance. The candle can be fragranced with your choice of scent - sweet pea, rose, jasmine, vanilla, cinnamon or apple - please state your preference when you place your order.
A further benefit of using EcoSoya wax is that any spills can be cleaned easily with hot soapy water – as can your gorgeous cup and saucer, leaving you with a true collector’s piece of vintage crockery to either display, or to use.
As with any true vintage item, the condition of this cup and saucer reflect their age and usage over the years. We rate the condition of this cup and saucer as “good” showing small signs of wear, but obviously having been well cared for.
