One of the best things about working with glass is its amazing range of colours and the way these are shades are transmitted as light shines through them. I think most glass fusers must be magpies in that respect!
Sometimes in my workshop I just enjoy experimenting with colour combinations: this Heart light-catcher made with vibrant shades of turquoise and blue glass is one of the results.

This beautiful fused glass heart light-catcher in vibrant shades of turquoise and sky blue (more turquoise than the photo looks - it was so difficult to photograph!) would make a fabulous addition to any room. With its colourful, textured design and unique patterned strip, this heart really does catch the light when hung in a sunny window, but it also looks stunning when displayed on a plain wall.
The hearts come in a range of colours (see photo below) and were designed with Valentine's Day in mind, but would make lovely birthday or Mothers Day gifts, or a treat for someone you may not have seen for very many months now.
Made with attention to detail and making the most of the gorgeous range of Bullseye glass colours, the light-catchers are tricky to construct given their curved shape and the fact that the coloured strips need to be tailored to fit the clear glass base. That said, I love making them as it gives me a chance to play with colour.
Your glass heart will be posted First Class and will arrive securely packaged in as much recyclable material as possible.
