I thought I’d make so rickets as my first grandchild is due soon and the nursery has a space theme.
This ticket would look great in any nursery or child’s bedroom and doesn’t need to be in full sunlight to look lovely.
Please be aware this is not a toy and should be kept out of reach.
This can be hung in the window but would look equally as nice if hung from a hook in the ceiling.
I have made this rocket using white streaky sea glass, dark blue corella glass for the rocket body and red streaky glass for the flame. A black glass nugget has been glued for the window.
Each piece of glass has been hand cut, ground, washed, foiled and soldered together before being washed again and polished. A ring and length of fishing line has been attached for hanging purposes.
I will supply a window hook so you can hang it up as soon as you receive it. Please remember to wet the plunger before you push firmly onto the window.
