I made one for myself to wear for a special valentines date. I had many compliments on the brooch and people asked me to make more. So was inspired to create a whole range. The heart beat motif was inspired by the fact I was born with a heart defect so often have to have ECG to monitor my heart rhythm so am familiar with the heartbeat detail and thought it would be a nice touch to add.
