Blue and Red - the colours that herald the precious jewel that is the Kingfisher. A sight seldom seen, but unmistakable once you do. The rusty red and the bright indigo blue offset each other against this slightly strouter and finer take on the traditional herringbone design, loving named mackerelbone.

Mackerel ofcourse being the fish that Cornwall and it's fisher-folk are renowned for. We see that the markings of these fish bare a striking resemblance to this mackerelbone twill. Robust and resilient in form, we herald thee and dream of shimmering shoals over a starry-gazey pie!
