A really eye catching & beautiful 200mm tall candle handcrafted from an original upcycled 50cl Chase Finest Rhubarb Liqueur Bottle. The top of the bottle has been removed and the cut edge polished and then hand poured with a premium natural unscented soy container wax.
The candle wick is an eco high grade flat, coreless ring-spun cotton and incorporates thin paper filaments and threads interlaced giving a stable and consistent burn, it is also self-trimming and minimizes carbon deposit formation and reduces afterglow.
Soy candles are environmentally responsible and eco-friendly! Soy wax is a completely renewable, sustainable and carbon neutral resource.
Soy candles also burn more cleanly and slowly than paraffin wax candles. Paraffin wax is made from petroleum, creates soot, and emits harmful toxins when burned.

General Candle Safety
Warning
To prevent fire and serious injury, always burn candles within sight and keep away from drafts & vibrations. Always use out of reach of children & pets and never burn the candle on or near anything which can catch fire.
Burning Instructions
Trim wick to 5mm before lighting and keep the candle free form any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings. Only burn the candle on a level, fire resistant surface. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

I love the fact that the trend and desire for the niche small batch distillation of gins, vodkas & liqueurs has resulted in a vast wide range of very interesting and distinctive bottles. I also love candle light, the way the candle moves, the shadows candle light costs and the, subtle soft light candles give. Upcycling used bottles to make eye catching candles therefore seemed the natural thing to make, rather than just consigning empty bottles to the recycling bin.
