This cosy blanket is just what you need when snuggling down to read or watch television on a miserable day.
It is made up of knitted squares in the brightest of colours, which have then been crocheted together on the back to hold everything together firmly. The whole thing is finished off with a pretty crocheted edging.
The blanket measures a generous 140 cms by 110 cms, which means it could also be used as a throw over the back of a sofa, or on top of a single bed to add warmth on a cold night.
It is made from high quality washable acrylic yarn.

I love to knit and this blanket is made up from yarn left over from other projects, making it very colourful. The squares are knitted corner to corner to make a true square which is always the same size as its neighbours.
The money raised from its sale will be donated to charities supporting children both in the UK and in Nepal, a country I visit often.
