Miniature Weaving - tiny, woven wall hanging
Description
A little handwoven wall decoration made from yarns with different fibres, woven over a cotton warp. The miniature abstract artwork has stripes of yarns in yellow-green, khaki, shiny lavender, muted green, fuzzy light green and a bright green, woven over white cotton warp threads, and suspended from a tiny twig and wool hanging loop.
The piece measures (excluding hanging loop and twig):-

Inspiration
This piece was inspired by the landscape and was woven on a miniature loom that I made myself, (it can be seen in the final photograph).
