Dual Blue Baker Boy Style Crocheted Hat or cap for the young lady who likes something a bit different.
I would say this hat would be suitable for teen 13 to 15 years but of course it would depend on your child. And to be honest it fits me comfortably, so might suit a lady too.
Crocheted in 100% Acrylic baby blue and denim blue yarn around the base of the hat and providing the soft peak. The baby blue crown of the hat has been triple crocheted, and the denim blue forming a tighter crocheted band and soft peak.
No animal fibres so suitable for vegans and those with a wool allergy.
This lovely crocheted hat is washable with care at 30'C, but I would suggest handwashing and shaping whilst damp.
This is a festive inspired style hat, for those in a jaunty mood. Crocheted in a continuous line, starting in the centre point of the bowl of the hat, all crocheted in one piece and increasing down to the body, I then added in the denim blue yarn and decreased the number of stitches to develop the narrow band and increased to incorporate a peak. Therefore, there are no seams in the body of the hat.
The hat is simply trimmed as shown and described, but you could always further adorn it with ribbon or a brooch if you like, or wear it as it has been created.
This is a hat for the discerning person, or teen who likes to wear unique items.
