Full description

A quick knitting project to make a cute winter gnome, with hand-wound yarn from Rowan Yarns and Cascade Yarns.

The Winter Gnomes are suitable for an adventurous beginner knitter upwards and make lovely little decorations for your home or Christmas tree. When finished, the gnome measures approximately 12cm in height (4.75") and is knitted flat.

INCLUDED IN THE KIT (enough to knit 1 gnome):

35g in total of Worsted/Aran Weight Yarn from Rowan Yarns and Cascade Yarns (all 100% wool), in four colours: Green, Mustard Yellow, White and "Skin Tone" (which will vary from kit to kit)

1 small pack of stuffing

1 printed copy of the Winter Gnome knitting pattern

OTHER DETAILS

Needles & Notions Required (not in kit): 4mm needles, small crochet hook (to attach length of yarn for beard), and a 6cm diameter circle of cardboard for the base (something like a cereal packet would be perfect!)

Increasing by "knitting front & back" (kfb)
