Full description
The fairy wings are made from layers of acetate and have been sprinkled with fairy dust and then glazed which really enhances the wings and adds a beautiful surface texture and shine.
They are very light and comfortable to wear.
The fairy wings have black veins and are a smoky opaque black. I have added stunning purple Swarovski crystals to each wing. The crystals are amazing and turn from a purple to a cobalt blue and then to a fiery purple depending on how the light hits them.
The earrings measure 69mm from the top of the sterling silver hook to the tip of the wing.
I have added little rubber stoppers to make the earrings more secure.
Please note that no fairies or insects were harmed during the making of this or any other piece of jewellery by Gossamer & Thorn.
