I love to make things just for fun and I can't through tiny pieces of wood into the firewood pile I'm compelled by an inner spirit to make them into something and this little piece of box sat on my workshop window sill for ages - and then it screamed at me to turn it into a whistle!

Full description
Boxwood Whistle turned from a lovely piece of wood gifted to me by Buckhurst Hill Residents Association after they gave their hedge a severe pruning. I don't often come upon it so this is a real gem of a noise maker. Feels silky smooth with a great tone, excellent for calling your dog, sporting actrivities, teachers & scout leaders, walkers & of course collectors. Has a handy hole drilled to fit on a lanyard.
Measures 7cm long.
