All of our handmade accessories are carefully washed before they are sent out to customers. We package items in tissue paper within recyclable carboard gift boxes. We include photo cards of the alpacas that helped to make your items. We are very happy to include anonymous notes for valentines day. Thank you for visiting our shop!
We discovered felted soap when a friend brought some back from a trip to America. It was bit of a Eureka moment as we were looking for something to make with the alpaca fibre that isn't quite good enough to process to yarn. Alpaca works perfectly for felting soap as it is hypoallergenic and naturally antibacterial. I know my limits when it comes to making so we got in touch with a lovely lady in Norfolk who makes beautiful soaps. A match made in heaven!

Full description
These 50g bars of cold processed soap are made by The Natural Soap Company in Wells, Norfolk. I then add a layer of alpaca fibre using the wet felting process. Each soap is individual and covered in a unique blend of colours of fibre from our boys.
Felted soap lasts longer, does not slip out of your hand and provides a natural, soft exfoliator. Even better, the felted alpaca cover is naturally antibacterial, odour resistant and breathable. Where palm oil has been used in some of these soaps, it is always from sustainable, fair trade sources. A full list of ingredients is itemised with each soap.
Felted soaps are a scrub and soap all in one. Run under water and rub to create lather. Wash hands, face and body as normal. When finished squeeze and dry, do not leave in water.
We ship each soap order with an instruction sheet.
