This is an original acrylic painting, measuring 30x30cm on a solid wood panel, ready to hang.

I paint the sea a lot because I am lucky enough to live right by it, and this is my favourite view looking East from the town I live in. The skies are often amazing here, especially at dawn and dusk, reflected in the water beneath.

This painting has been treated with a gloss varnish that protects the paint but also gives a wonderful gentle shine to the water.

This is a painting of my home town, Sidmouth, in Devon. It's a beautiful part of the world and never fails to inspire me to paint. I've been working on a series of acrylic seascapes like this one based on the incredible colours we get around here in the sky during Autumn. Some of this series are sold and hanging in people's homes but this more recent one is now available.
