Glass Beaded Necklace with Postage Stamp Pin – Sly Fox & Little Red Hen
Description
Red for Little Red Hen, copper for the Fox, green and brown for the woodland, grey for the stones – all the colours to give this necklace the Sly Fox and Little Red Riding Hood vibe. The stamp features a red fox and was issued in the USA in 1978.
There's no clasp to mess about with! The necklace is large enough to be placed over the head.
Necklace length:
28.5 inches (73 centimetres). The lowest point from the centre of the collarbone when worn is approximately 6 inches (15 centimetres)
The stamp is mounted on strong card. The card is painted in a complementary colour. The back of the brooch is finished with lace. The edge is sealed with a gloss sealant but the centre of the stamp is untouched as they are too pretty to mess with. The clasp is a clutch pin in rose coloured brass, this is safer and less fiddly than a traditional brooch pin.

CARE: as the Postage Stamp Pin is card and paper based I do not recommend getting it wet!
The stamp is vintage and, as such, will show signs of age – but this only adds to the appeal :)
