Acid Smile! A very lovely super chunky beanie or slouchy crocheted hat. Which could be worn by either a lady or a gent.
The body of the hat is crocheted in chunky black yarn, giving a tightly woven and firmer feeling hat, with a crocheted contrasting green circle and embroidered face securely sewn onto the beanie.
I do not work from patterns, everything I create is from my own imagination and totally unique.
This lovely hat is crocheted in 100% acrylic yarn and washable with care in cool water, but I would suggest drying flat and shaping whilst damp.
No animal fibres so suitable for vegans.
The slouchy, or beanie is a classic style. Crocheted on a large hook to give a tight, firmer chunky stitch and in a continuous line, starting in the centre at the top, so there are no seams or joins in the body of the hat, except where the green contrast yarn is added to the hat. The approximate measurements for the hat is that it has a diameter of approx 29cms, with an opening diameter of approx 26cms when the yarn is relaxed. Can be worn with or without a tunover edge.
This is a larger size hat, suitable for a gent or ladies size large.
I thoroughly enjoy creating useful and unusual items with yarn. Knitting and crochet are so relaxing! This lovely olive green hat will go with so many outfits, perfect for the autumn & winter seasons & any one who loves unique & bespoke items.
