I adore being in old-school sweet shops where every sweet is weighed out and packaged into little paper bags. As a child, one of my favourite sweets were striped with lush greens and stunning pinks, and it is from this that this bauble came about.
As with all of my art work, vivid colours are my favourite things to play with, and this bauble is no exception. Using acrylic pouring technics, I was able to create a bauble that I would have adored as a child. For me it sparks memories of going to see The Nut Cracker, mixed with the joys of getting to spend my pocket money at the local sweetshop!
