These old rotary dial telephones always take me back to my childhood - those nostalgic days before Internet and smartphones. Whenever I come across one of these old phones that no longer works, I always wonder if there is anything I can do to it to give it a new purpose.

Often known as a 'kettle telephone' due to it's carrying handle, this rare vintage black diecast Belgium rotary telephone with it's brass dial and carrying handle has been beautifully upcycled by hand into a stylish table lamp. A perfect talking piece for a livingroom, bedroom, office, bar, restaurant, or any other area.
This old telephone has been stripped, cleaned, and polished to remove decades of dirt and grime, and has two vintage style Edison LED lights with old style spiral filaments producing a lovely warm glow. The telephone lamp also has an antique metal style flexible gooseneck arm so that the handset can be repositioned.
These vintage style high quality LED light bulbs use up to 90% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs resulting in far less heat, and have up to 30,000 hours lifespan.
In keeping with the retro style, the phone lamp also comes with a vintage style braided cable with an inline switch and a British 3amp plug.
This is an original retro phone is decades old and there is some natural wear and tear as expected, which all adds to the character of the phone.
All electrical work is new and has been carried out to a professional standard and has been PAT tested.
Please note that the telephone is made from strong metal and Bakelite and is heavy.
