Full description
Leafy green nephrite jade beads hang gracefully like budding flowers within these highly polished circular sterling silver drop earrings. This is the natural undyed colour of these semi-precious beads and is actually my favourite. The translucent gems have small dark flecks which enhance the natural feel of these beads. The silver hoops represent the solar and lunar cycles and also the principle of karma, the contrasting shapes interacting to produce contemporary geometric jewellery. The wirework featured in my minimalist design is hand made by me in my West Sussex workshop. These earrings measure approximately 34 mm or 1 3/8" in length and the final photograph shows them with a 3" long vintage lipstick case to provide a sense of scale.
My earrings are carefully presented in a black card gift box fastened with a bow.
Please note, owing to the difference in size of the irregular gemstone beads used, all of these Karma earring pairs have different sized hoops. Please take careful note of the measurements above before you make your purchase.
