Full description
Four round ultramarine blue lapis lazuli beads, with tiny golden flecks of pyrite have the starring role in this pair of Minimalist circular drop earrings in sterling silver. The beads have been upcycled from a vintage necklace and are therefore an ethical way to wear this highly prized gemstone. The highly polished silver hoop is intended to represent the cycle of the sun and moon and symbolises the principle of Karma. Lapis lazuli was much prized by ancient cultures, with it's cloudy intense blue representing the heavens. All of the silverwork for these contemporary geometric earrings, including the headpins, wires and the substantial 1.5 mm thick hoops, has been forged by hand at my West Sussex workshop. These earrings measure approximately 34 mm or 1 3/8" in length and the final photograph shows them with a 3" long vintage lipstick case to provide a sense of scale.
My earrings are carefully presented in a black card gift box fastened with a bow.
Please note, owing to the difference in size of the irregular gemstone beads used, all of these Karma earring pairs have different sized hoops. Please take careful note of the measurements above before you make your purchase.
