I am trying to reduce at home, where possible, the usage of plastic by using more natural materials such as straw, cardboard but also linen, cotton and hessian. Hessian in particular is my favourite because it is a genuine, simple and humble product of nature with so many qualities: strong, durable, versatile, economical and eco-friendly.

A useful fabric little box that can help to organise and storage small objects around the house: yarns, pegs, keys, medications, but also biscuits, sweets of coffee pods.
It can also work as 'pot' for plants. Just make sure to take the plant out before watering and always keep inside a saucers for any excess of water that could stain the fabric.
The inner fabric, dark green with cute hedgehogs pattern, is mix linen and cotton and the outer fabric is a good quality hessian. The basket measures approximately 8cm x 9cm x 21cm (max height with the fabric all extended). This basket is also available in a larger size. Please see my other listings.
The basket doesn't need the interface or the wadding between the two fabrics because both the linen and the hessian have a good degree of stiffness. If it gets accidentally stained, it's recommended to wash delicately by hand in warm water and use mild detergents.
