These were a series of ceramic masks I produced for a larger installation, some with the face concave in low relief, some in high relief, exploring the Necker illusion. The mask bodies were slip cast from moulds of my own design. I subsequently felt inspired to embellish the high relief forms, some with acrylic pour, some with applied shiny things - and who doesn't like shiny things ! The result, I think, have an ethereal, elven look to them.
