I was asked to make Cobra badges for a cycling club which had a special anniversary to celebrate. I liked the idea of the snake, but as it was a special motif for the club I needed to redesign it. I also wanted to make it more suited to an earring and pendant shape. The original design had a dark background, so the change of colour has given it quite a different effect.

Full description
These earrings cut to a shape unique to my work and enamelled with a motif of a cobra head’s and upper body. They measure approximately 2.2cm by 1.2cm at the widest point. The length of the earrings including jump rings and silver fish hook ear wires is approximately 4cm. Both sides of the copper have enamel powder applied in layers several times with firings in between, the Cobra head and body details are added as the final layer. The reverse is enamelled in a mixed colour which adds strength and durability. There is a choice of two colours a pale green with brown and orange with brown. The Cobra Head Pendant Earrings are presented in a quality card gift box. They will be sent inside an outer card packaging box by Royal Mail ‘Tracked’postage.
