I was asked to make Cobra badges for a cycling club which had a special anniversary to celebrate. I liked the idea of the snake, but as it was a special motif for the club (and on an oval base) I needed to redesign it. I thought I could make it more suited to a pendant and earring shape. A change of colour from the dark background of the original has also given it quite a different twist on the snake theme.

Full description
This pendant is hand cut to a shape unique to my work and enamelled with a motif of a cobra head’s and upper body. It measures approximately 3cm long by 2.2cm at the widest point. Both sides of the copper have enamel powder applied in layers several times with firings in between, the Cobra head and body details are added as the final layer. The reverse is enamelled in a mixed colour which adds strength and durability to the pendant. It hangs from a black cord with a silver-plated fastener in a variety of lengths please choose from the options given. There is a choice of two colours, a pale green with brown and orange with brown which can be seen in the images. The Cobra Head Pendant is presented in a quality card gift box. It will be sent in an outer card packaging box by Royal Mail ‘Tracked’ postage.
