I live very near Hastings and the town is known for its many celebrations, one of which is Jack in the green. Greenery is bought into the homes as well as adorning people. This inspired the oak leaves and acorns. Although we cannot bring in the oak over Christmas we bring in other branches to decorate our homes. I hope my work will be left out after Christmas bringing a bit of joy when all other decorations are tucked away.
