Miffy illustrations are as popular now as they were in the 1960's and have an almost timeless appeal. The images are iconic and the stories simple and pleasing. I love that when made into bunting the pictures are displayed and new life is given to something that had been discarded.

Full description
This is a length of paper bunting made from an entire Miffy book by Dick Bruna - Miffy's Bicycle. There are 14 flags measuring 15cm square, hung 2cm apart giving a total length of 290cm (includes 30cm each end for tying). The images hang to the front and the story to the back. The whole book is used and so the story may still be read. The pages are edged in navy blue machine stitching and I have used a matching blue binding. this dark blue coordinates well with the simple illustrations which are in solid and bright colours with black outlines. The stitching gives extra strength and definition to the paper.
A perfect gift for a retro inspired playroom or nursery, for a lover of traditional stories, books and illustration.
