Full description
This is a set of 5 haberdashery items carefully selected to provide a lovely gift. Either for someone just starting out on a textile journey, at school, college or university or for someone already with an interest in textiles.
The kit arrives with the items individually wrapped in a box. The buttons and tape measure are wrapped and then put in a beautiful organza bag.
It includes
A sewing needle case 4" square which includes 3 pins, 3 needles and 3 safety pins
A scissor necklace holder with a beautiful pair of small embroidery scissors Size approximately 4.5" x 2.5" with a gold cord that is long enough to slip over your head.
A retractable tape measure which is 60" 1.5m long Size approximately 2.25" or 5.5 cms across
3 handmade red buttons with a shank back 1"
A reel of shiny red thread
The handmade items are made using layers of fabrics using hand dyed cottons and silks with free machine embroidery style of sewing.
Not suitable for young children as it contains sharp items
