This is an expressive and windswept view that I love - the South West coastpath runs all the way from the tip of Cornwall and all along our beautiful Jurassic coast here in Devon. Walkers beware, there are an awful lot of ups and downs as it meanders along, but the views are spectacular!

A perfect little present for a rambler or anyone who loves this part of the world.

This 5x7" painting is mounted and framed in a chunky solid wood, white painted frame, ready to hang.

I sketched this out on a wild and windy day and took the drawings back to my studio to work into a painting. I use an old-fashioned dip pen to draw the outlines in, which is always a bit haphazard but gives a lovely randomness to the lines themselves.

This was one of a series of local views I painted over the course of last Autumn.
