Full description

My dearest Jane! A clear glass bead backed with a page fragment from a copy of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. The fragment is taken from the end of the book, where the blinded Mr Rochester is discovered by Jane.

The glass is very slightly pearlised, and magnifies the text below. It has a soft green cast to it. The shadows on the paper are from slight ripples in the glass itself, adding to the old fashioned charm. The paper is attached to the glass using super clear adhesive specially designed for the purpose.

The back is protected by a layer of clear varnish. The bead it attached to the silver mounting using very strong epoxy resin.

The adjustable ring fits a range of medium to large fingers, from about 5.5cm in circumference upwards.

A wonderful gift idea for fans of Charlotte Bronte.
