A stunning addition for any budding steam engineer, This blowtorch has been made safer by the introduction of a cold steam cell and Light Emission Device. The body is brass construction with the addition of sturdy copper components and a leather-wrapped handle for comfort and belt loop to attach to your work belt.
This torch is the perfect addition to any engineers tools kit.

Every repurposed/upcycled item I make is unique no two items will ever be the same.
Materials that I use may have the odd dent or ding which adds to their history and uniqueness of the finished article, 90% of all my makes are repurposed items with the other 10% being as recyclable as possible

I started playing with ideas of how to reuse a rusty vintage blowtorch, rather than letting it rust away.
I looked at lamps that are already available but wanted something that was more portable and less destructive than a desk lamp and could be used with a costume or look great on a shelf.
The base blowtorch has a beautiful look and history that I didn't want to spoil so I designed the torch with as little intrusion to the body as possible.
All the parts except the basic fixings were reused or leftover from other projects.
