Blue beach pottery angel
Description
These pieces of beach pottery, found around the Kent coast, have spent time in the sea being aged. Together on cleaned untreated driftwood create a christmas angel. The pottery and shell are securely attached with resin. It is a long fiddly process but with strong permanent results. Some gold leaf decorates parts of the pottery and angel halo, sealed with shellac. There is a small touch of fine glitter. This hanging with cord is
22cm in length.
Inspiration
I love collecting shells, pottery, beach glass and fossils from the beautiful Kent beaches, reclaiming them and transforming these small treasures into lovely keepsakes, for Christmas or all year display. Each piece is unique with a bit of history behind them.
