I make small pieces like this when I am getting into the flow of painting to do a larger commission, they are a kind of sampler or sketch and they often come out very nicely.
My studio over looks the mouth of the Teign Estuary in Devon and the seaside creeps into lots of my work.

Lovely hand painted suncatcher in Kingfisher blue, this will look great hanging in a sunny window or against a white wall. It would make a great gift for seaside lovers everywhere

I have hand painted this piece and fired it in my kiln, so the enamel has become part of the glass and the edges have been smoothed and rounded.

This piece is a one off piece of glass art. I begin by painting the whole piece of glass with enamel and then I scratch the glass away to reveal the glass below.

7 x 16 cm comes with hanging hook and contrasting ribbon.
