I love a classic pinafore dress and have made various versions of these dresses until I stumbled across the idea to make them reversible! If I'm going to do a half lining I may a well do a full lining and make them more useful. I love horses and regularly went riding as a youngster, I'd have loved a dress in this fabric!

Not only is this a beautiful pinafore in stunning horse fabric, but as it's reversible you get two handmade dresses in one! With double buttons you can easily fasten it whichever side you choose to show making this classic design perfect for everyday wear or a special occasion.
There are endless possibilities for layering, with pretty much any colour top, and socks or soft tights and boots, she's the perfect transitional item all year round. The fit is pretty generous and can be lengthened when needed by re-positioning the buttons, and when eventually too short, can be worn as a tunic with leggings or thick tights
Made with 100% cotton, this dress is reversible and contains buttons which could present a choking hazard if they come loose. Button and buttonhole sites are strengthened with interfacing.
Sizing:
I have listed the FINISHED item measurements below, measure your child around the chest under the arms and add enough wearing ease to be comfortable and fit layers underneath, then choose the size you require:
1-2 years - Chest 24" Length 17"
Cool wash line dry. Fabric has been washed prior to construction so no shrinkage should occur
