I have a collection of teapots and began knitting cosies for each one. I really enjoyed knitting and crocheting all the different styles and colours. Of course, I ended up with too many and began selling them.
It gives me a great deal of pleasure to knit a cosy and love trying out new designs.

Full description
A hand knitted tea cosy topped with a stunning red crochet poppy. A black button has been added as the centre of the poppy.
The body of the tea cosy has been knitted using two strands of double knitting yarn, one strand is green and the other a pale lemon. It gives the tea cosy a lovely textured look. The poppy on top of the tea cosy has been crocheted using a pure wool yarn.
This hand knitted tea cosy will fit a standard large teapot. It is very stretch so will fit all shapes.
The photo shows it displayed on a large round bodied teapot.
