The earliest known representation of angels with wings is on the "Prince's Sarcophagus", ascribed to the time of Theodosius I (379–395). Angels were believed to be intermediaries between God and human beings.
This decoration has been made from Pine Wood, which is believed to be the tree of peace.

This unique wooden Angel Bauble, has been upcycled from reclaimed wood. This beautiful Skiing Angel Christmas decoration will make a lovely addition to your Christmas tree. It would make a perfect gift for numerous occasions such as a gift for sister, a gift for aunt or a Christmas present.
The approximate height of the Angel is 5.5 cm, the approximate width is 5.5 cm and the thickness is approximately 1 cm.

A piece of recycled wood was cleaned and sanded to enable me to upcycle it. The design was applied to the wood and cut using a Scroll Saw. Glue was then added to the decoration and glitter was applied.
I am a firm believer in upcycling using reclaimed wood whenever possible. I often recycle the packaging I send out my items in.
