As is often the case with me the beads were made while I simply played with clay. I laid coloured slices of clay on top of each to make the stripes then thinly sliced it and wrapped it round a ball of clay to create the beads. I thought they'd make great earrings, so I made them.

Full description
Handcrafted polymer clay beads in swirls of blue, white and salmon pink are the focal point on these stylish statement earrings. Each individual bead is threaded with gold wire, looped and linked to the next bead, ensuring soft flow of movement.
These unusual earrings look fab day or evening and make a fabulous gift for that special someone, especially yourself.
Polymer clay is a lightweight substance making these graceful earrings comfortable to wear any time, any place.
The uncommon handmade beads are suspended from a gold plated, nickel and lead free earring hook, suitable for most people to wear and are approx. 3” 7cm long
Non fussy packaging. I paste vintage magazines, annuals, books, music sheets, or my own hand painted designs onto reclaimed cardboard packaging.
Why?
A) It's cheap and keeps costs down
B) With so much packaging floating round it's nice to recycle.
C) There's something rather therapeutic in gluing paper onto card.
Also: If you have a creative bent you could incorporate it into your own work
All products will arrive in recyclable padded envelopes and are sent out within three working days of the order being received.
