This necklace is made using a favourite technique of mine called collage. Different coloured clays are rolled together to make create various coloured combinations then laid on top of white clay, a layer of gold leaf is laid on top then the clay is rolled paper thin. Pieces are then torn off and layered onto a clay bead. The effect is stunning and well worth the time and effort that is taken to make this unique necklace.
