There is a large and very tall horse chestnut tree in our garden, which I can see from my chair, where I crochet. It turns the most beautiful oranges and golds. And the spiral is because while the trees are shedding their leaves...they are also dropping their bounty, some is food for the animals, squirrels, birds, hedgehogs and the like, and some will get covered and sprout in the spring...it's the constant spiral of life, of rebirth, renewal.

Gorgeous hand hooked wrist warmers, which are one of a kind. All my free form wrist warmers are made without a pattern, and this makes each pair unique, indeed each glove is unique, as even the pairs are not completely identical.
This pair feature a spiral motif, which symbolises rebirth and renewal.
These are hooked in a gorgeous 65% wool and 35% Alpaca blend, which is both warm and sustainable. The gloves will fit a person with small to medium sized hands. The circumference is approximately 18cm (7in) and approximately 22cm, (8.5in) long.
The gloves will be wrapped in tissue paper and tied with ribbon. I have transitioned to using cardboard boxes instead of the plastic post bags. Where feasible I will use boxes that will fit through a letterbox.
Please hand wash and do not tumble dry.
Gently shape gloves while wet.
