I love books, particularly notebooks! I write lists for everything, both at work and at home and scribble notes and ideas down all the time. Some time ago I started to get really bored with the standard off-the-shelf type of notebook available. I also, by accident, discovered I find it more relaxing to write notes on coloured paper than white paper. But when I looked for a note book with coloured pages, I really struggled to find one that appealed. So I decided to make my own. I booked myself on a bookbinding course and was completely bitten by the book-making bug! I now make a variety of types, all with an eye to colour and attractive design, and most with coloured pages.
The inspiration for this book came from finding the balloon paper used on the covers. I had been making a series of elegant, case bound books, and thought this was cheery and bright and deserved a "fun" type of book. I hope you think it works!

Coptic stitch binding enables you to lay the book flat, ideal for sketching or journalling across the pages.
Multi-coloured, cheery balloons on the front and back covers, bright yellow end papers.
Traditionally made with 120 pages (240 sides) in multiple colours matching the cover design.
Contrasting white linen thread stitching.
