I have always loved viewing city lights at night from as long as I can remember and have often tried to capture the magic of the way in which the lighting defines the landscape at night in my artwork. When I visited cities in the Far East, I specially loved the jamboree of vibrant colourful Neon words and symbols which adorned many city streets and were an inspiration for this lamp along with the idea of using the words to create hidden messages - look more closely..

Full description
Neon City Scape Lamp depicts the vibrant colours of neon lights in a city at night time against the shadow of skyscrapers in the background. The four sides of the cube shape lend themselves to the different perspectives of a city creating an impression of turning into a new street as you view each side of the lamp. This makes a beautiful illuminated centre piece feature to a living space and warms up a room on a cold, dark evening. It is sized 20cm x 10cm x 10 cm and comes with a bulb, electric lead, safety switch and plug.
