This gorgeous board is crafted from a solid slab of Rare Spalted Beech wood with a raw natural edge on one side
Spalted Beech is natural beech hard wood that has aged for several years. When the ageing environment is just right the process generates beautiful patterns throughout, the wood is very strong, durable and eye catching, it will serve you long years.

With every purchase you receive a complimentary jar of our home made all natural Beeswax Board Butter and a care plan.

A regular care regime will help to prevent cracking and loss of natural oils, will extend the life of your board, maintain its water resistance, and keep it looking great.

If buying as a gift, you'll find the packaging it's delivered in to be a tailored Kraft style Postal Box, Shredded Kraft Paper Packing and clear jar of Board Butter with aluminium lid topped of with shop Logo plus a care plan.

The board itself is almost 2 Inches (4.5cm) thick, together with feet it becomes really thick 2.4 Inches (6cm)

The size, including the live edge feet is approx. 16" x 8" x 2.4" (40cm x 20cm x 6cm) due to the wood shape, the Length is varying from 15" to 18" (37-48cm).
The weight of the board is approx. 2.5Kg

I found a fantastic local lumber yard that has the most amazing selection of live edge boards ranging from English Oak to Sequioa. I found a beautiful slab of spalted beech that has some amazing black veins incorporated. I managed to get 9 boards out of these and they turned out fantastic.
