Full description
Belts arent just for holding your trousers up, they also carry your gear. During summer months they happily do both, but in the winter you dont want the kit on your belt buried under your coat.
This hand stitched leather belt can be worn around the trousers in the conventional way, or employed as the foundation of a sturdy load carrying system by clipping it into it's 60mm girth strap.
The ability to wear the whole thing over your winter clothes requires additional length, so it is fitted with an additional free running loop to keep the long end under control. The loop is fitted with a solid brass D-ring. Enabling the use of a key or wallet chain when worn around the trousers.
During colder months, or when you have a lot more kit to carry it simply clips into the load bearing strap. It's held in place with a heavy-duty press-stud and 4 leather strap keepers, which separate your load while holding it firmly in place.
Compatible with an ever growing range of accessories, from axe holsters and knife danglers, through to game hangers and tinder kits, the bushcraft belt forms the basis of a comprehensive carrying system, leaving the woodsman with hands free for other tasks, such as carrying firewood, or foraging for wild food to cook on their campfire.
Each belt is made to order.
