Full description
An abstract landscape study using a variety of smooth and textured glass. The two vertical stripes are made with a softly rippled purple and a translucent bubbly white. The hillside behind is a swirled green and clear 'baroque' glass, behind that is a textured clear which makes me think of the wind and the track it takes through the air. Turquoise and amber form the rest of the sky/sun. Opinion is divided with the coloured squares in the foreground but I made it and I like to think it's a meadow of beautiful multicoloured wild flowers.
The beauty of an abstract study like this is that we all see our own story... What will yours be?
Once cut, the panel is then leaded, soldered and cemented. Hooks have been added for hanging this piece in your window.
