I also make hats and headbands, which have been fabulous for lockdown hair I have to admit! With weddings and events on hold, my millinery business has been at a standstill recently, so I have also been sewing scrubs, surgical gowns, and scrub hats for the South London Scrubbers group for the NHS.
I developed this face cover design after trying several free patterns. None of them quite fit right and all had large gaps so this pattern was borne from that. The added wire and pleat create a lovely comfortable fit.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

NEW IMPROVED DESIGN!
WHO recommends 3 layers for fabric face covers, including a non-woven filter layer. My new design now has a medium-weight interfacing made from 100% polyester sandwiched between the outer layers.
Professionally finished to a high standard, this is a washable and reusable fitted-style face cover with nose wire and elastic ear loops. Each mask has a small pleat on each side for a better fit to reduce gaps.
This size fits most adults, however some may prefer a larger size or longer elastic. Elastic can be tied in a knot to create a tighter fit, if required. Do contact me if you are concerned about size at the time of ordering.
Plastic coated wire is used in the nose section for better washability. The wire has been fully enclosed in the internal seams. Nose wire should be pressed against the bridge of your nose and across your cheeks to create a snug fit.
