I have painted many Raindrops paintings, the inspiration came when I was standing at the door of my gallery back in 2003, there were no customers but the was a huge storm overhead. The rain was beating down and I was staring at the road wasching the rain hitting the street and making patterns. I wanted to capture that.
The paintings have been in many colours, some look dark and wild, some peaceful and some like Gastonbury after a storm, (ver muddy) This one was one of a few I did on canvas and is quite a peaceful painting, softer colours and woulf look great in a calm place like a bedroom
