Walking in the Lake District, I came across a flock of goldfinches feeding on thistle heads. Love these colourful little characters.

Full description
A 20 cm x 20 cm giclée print of a watercolour goldfinch. The print is unmounted, and made on acid-free 310 gsm Hahnemühle German Etching paper, which has a subtle texture.
The watercolour bird is featured against a soft white background, which will suit any room's colour scheme.
Giclée printing is achieved with an accurate fine inkjet spray, which allows a very close match to the original artwork.
The goldfinch's Latin name, cardualis, means of the thistle. So no prizes for guessing what its favourite food is ...
I was delighted when I looked out at the feeders recently and saw two juvenile goldfinches feasting there. Fingers crossed they'll become regular visitors.
Your print will be packaged with a card backing and wrapped in cellophane for protection. The print will be posted to you in a board back mailer.
