Full description
Original design handmade wet felted brooch, fastened with a secure brooch pin. It looks fabulous on a winter jacket.
I quite enjoy making these, because I'm never sure how they are going to turn out! I lay several colours of wool on a base layer, then add further embellishments of silks and plant fibres, then wet felt it all together.
Its a bit like painting, but with wool!
This particular brooch has shades of pink and white silks and bamboo fibres on a soft blue merino wool base, and is approximately 12cm wide.
