The saying goes 'When Robins appear, loved ones are near'.
I wanted to create a special Robin which combines this sentiment with the symbolism of the rainbow - as a token of hope and remembrance.
This little robin has been laser cut from my own design from 3mm plywood. Stained with an oak coloured wood die and decorated on one side only, the robin's rainbow markings have been painted in subtle shades of chalk paint. His cloud tummy is painted in acrylic paint and then he is finished with a coat of wax for a lasting soft matt effect. He has knotted leather cord legs and hangs from a jute twine loop.
Your Rainbow Robin is hand painted in soft muted colours which may vary from the colours shown on different devices and monitors.
