I was forever being asked by customers at craft fairs whether I made pet baskets so it was only a matter of time before I gave in! I've made a few of these now and I love seeing customer photos of their gorgeous cats enjoying their new beds.

Treat your moggy to a handmade cat basket in bright stripes.
Crocheted using tactile chunky tshirt yarn, formed from the off-cuts from the textile manufacturing process. The ultimate in upcycling! The yarns used for this basket are cobalt blue, bright pink, white and grass green.
The basket measures 40cm diameter and 14cm high, the perfect size for kittens and adult cats. You might want to pop a small cushion or blanket in the bottom of the basket to make it extra cosy for your kitty. The basket also has two sturdy handles, making it easy to move around your home.
The basket is machine washable on a low heat.
