Full description

Handmade mini dream catcher from my first collection - Summer Sunsets. Created using beautiful sari silk draping down from a copper ring, and finished with a mini posy of hand dried flowers including Zinnias and Cow Parsley.

The silk ribbons used for this collection are created in India by hand using silk sari remnants which get sewn together, providing women with an income for themselves and their families, also saving this fabric from ending up in landfill. The fabric edges are frayed which adds to the unique beauty of the products.

Height - 40cm, Width - 11cm

Each piece is a one off unique creation.

Dream catchers originate from Native American and are believed to help assure good dreams when placed above were you sleep. It is believed that as you sleep all dreams from the spirit world have to pass through the dream catcher. Only good dreams can pass through to the dreamer while the bad dreams are caught in the webbing and are destroyed by the first rays of the morning light.

Please note photographs are taken to the truest colour possible, however colours can vary slightly on screen.
